Professional and academic life

I am a 3rd-year Computers and Information Technology student with a strong academic record at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages. While I have primarily focused on web development, I am eager to broaden my horizons and explore various other areas of computer science, including artificial intelligence, mobile development, and more. I'm known for my quick learning, creativity and firm commitment to excellence. 

My hobbies

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, going on hikes, long walks and roadtrips, capturing moments through photography—whether with my DSLR (which I lately use for astrophotograpy) or my latest passion, film cameras. I also enjoy playing board games (special mention to Catan), going to car events and occasionally go karting. Some of my older hobbies include drawing with pastels, playing the piano, and crocheting, though I have yet to return to them.

Important people in my life

2024 has been the most challenging year of my life, as I lost two of the most beautiful and pure souls I have ever known: my mom, Mihaela, and my beloved cat, Timy. I am incredibly grateful for the time I had with them and for the support of my dad, the rest of my family, and my friends, who have helped me navigate these difficult times.
Special mentions go to my boyfriend of almost six years, Gaby, who is always there for me (and who, I hope, doesn’t read this far and get cringed out), and Desi, my best friend who unknowingly shaped the person I am today (and who I also hope won’t read this far and get cringed out).

Random facts

Although I am serious about my work, I am quite airheaded, so I need to have everything written on to-do lists so that I don't lose track of my tasks

I had a male duck named Vasile (he is still alive and well in the countryside) - 2025 update: RIP Vasile :(

I like pizza with a lot of tomatoes, cheese, rucola and prosciutto crudo or chorizo

I really like tomatoes in general, and I tried to make my own sundried tomatoes this summer, with an outcome of 2 small jars

I also like oranges, rock and jazz music

I enjoy dressing up for halloween

I am an introvert, and apparently my mbti is INTJ
